Welcome to the April edition of Bonterra news! This month, we're excited to release several features that streamline common fundraising workflows centered on making it easier and faster to set up and on improving our integration capabilities. You’ll continue to see us make advancements here throughout the year as we continue to help you drive intelligent engagement actions.
Additionally, a significant change to our EveryAction phone data model is coming soon. This change will improve your visibility and understanding of the type of device associated with a phone number, helping you better segment and build outreach campaigns.

Membership Management updates
|
The Membership Management page has been updated to address some common pain points in the initial setup process. Active membership programs will continue to process as usual.

Zoom Webinar integration
|
The new Zoom Webinars App is now available! The Zoom Webinar integration can now be set up using any Zoom user account with the NGP VAN + EveryAction Webinars V2 App.

Donor checkout for one-time donations
|
|
|
Making a donation just got easier and faster for many donors! We recently rolled out a "Continue as Guest" option at checkout, which allows donors with donor accounts to make a one-time donation without having to log in. If donors are making a recurring donation, they will still be required to login.

Updates to Phone Data Model
|
|
|
EveryAction is updating our phone data model. Our goal is to provide a data model that more accurately describes the use, device type, and capabilities of a phone number.
These updates will make it easier for you to find the right phone number for the right channel and provide greater control over which numbers rise to the top of a supporter record.
As part of these updates, we will be making two initial changes. During the week of May 6th, a new field titled "Device Type" will be available to capture whether a number belongs to a "Landline," "Cell," "VoIP," "Fax," or "Unknown." During the week of May 17th, phone types of "Fax" and "Main" will be deprecated. More information on default settings and one-time mappings will be available in the coming weeks.

The ability to bulk remove tags will be available via Bulk Upload and Bulk Apply to help users more efficiently manage contact records.

Salsa Engage now requires all users to have a DKIM record in place to send emails from the platform. If you’ve already set up and authenticated a DKIM record, no further action is needed.
